21) Health Educator levels 1/2/3

  • A Health Educator specializes in providing systematic and efficient health education for individuals, groups, businesses and local community to help develop them healthy behaviors. They also carry out preventive health management projects with a view to preventing diseases and promoting health.

  • Eligibility
    Eligibility
    Health Educator (level 1) 1. Those who have acquired a Health Educator level 2 license and have been engaged in health education business as notified by the Minister of Health and Welfare for at least three years as of the test date
    2. Those who have completed subjects related to health education as specified by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health and Welfare in a school, equivalent to or higher than a graduate school referred to in the Higher Education Act, acquired master's or doctorate degree and have been engaged in health education business as notified by the Minister of Health and Welfare for at least two years as of the test date
    Health Educator (level 2) 1. Those who have completed subjects related to health education as specified by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health and Welfare in schools under the Article 2 of the Higher Education Act or at an educational program equivalent to or higher than the schools and who have acquired a bachelor's or higher degree
    Health Educator (level 3) 1. Those who have completed at least five required subjects and at least two elective subjects among the subjects related to health education as specified by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health and Welfare in schools referred to in the Article 2 of the Higher Education Act or at an educational program equivalent to or higher than the schools and who have acquired a bachelor's or higher degree

    Elective subjects Anatomy & Physiology, health statistics, health information, human development, social psychology, health ethics, environmental health, epidemiology, disease control, safety education, reproductive health, rehabilitation health, food sanitation, mental health, health nutrition, health and exercise, oral health, child health, health for the aged, school health, industry health, community health Completion of 4 subjects and 10 credits
    Disqualification standards
    1. An incompetent or a quasi-incompetent person
    2. A person who was declared bankrupt and has not yet been reinstated
    3. A person in whose case, the execution of a sentence is not completed or the decision not to execute such sentence is not yet finalized after being sentenced to imprisonment without prison labor or a heavier punishment
    4. A person whose license was lost or suspended by legal directive or by an order of the court
