A successful candidate of the clinical skill test is determined according to the cutoff scores set by the passing score deliberation committee, composed of medical school professors, as set and notified by the Minister of Health and Welfare.

The passing scores are comprised of the passing score in terms of total score and the passing score in terms of the number of correct items. An examinee needs to pass both scores to pass the test. One cutoff score is a sum of scores of questions an examinee with minimum competency should make correct answers to. The other cutoff score based upon a number of passed items refers to the number of items an examinee with minimum competency should get right.

Those who have passed both the written and clinical skill tests will be considered to be a successful candidate of the medical licensing examination.
