About JEEHP
The Journal of Educational Evaluation for Health Professions (JEEHP) is the institutional journal published by the
KHPLEI. The JEEHP is a specialized journal delivering research articles focused on education and evaluation in
the field of health care. This journal contributes to the sharing of information between health and medical
professions and the advancement of educational evaluation to enhance the quality of our national examination.
Since JEEHP is a web-based journal in English, it is always open to the submission of articles for publication and
it allows information sharing not only between domestic specialists but also with overseas experts and
specialists. The JEEHP was the fifth journal to be registered as an international medical journal in the electronic
storage database of PMC-PubMed Central and is positioned as a representative journal in the health and
medical field in Korea.
Aims and Scope of the JEEHP
Journal of Educational Evaluation for Health Professions (JEEHP, eISSN 1975-5937) is an international peer-reviewed online journal. It has been the official journal not only of the Korea Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute http://www.kuksiwon.or.kr from launch year 2004, but now also of the Association for Medical Education in the Western Pacific Region http://www.amewpr.org.au since 2012. It was launched with the Korean-language title, Pogŏn ŭiryo kyoyuk pʿyŏngka (ISSN 1738-1339) in 2004. Since 2006, the official title of the journal is Journal of Educational Evaluation for Health Professions, and its abbreviation is J Educ Eval Health Prof. Its homepage URL is http://jeehp.org/. The journal is published by the Korea Health Personnel Licensing Examination Institute, Gwangjin-gu, Jayang-ro 45, Seoul 05103, Korea.The journal aims to increase the quality of educational evaluation of health professionals by providing research information with easy access via the web. Ultimately, the journal’s efforts are devoted to the improved health of humanity. JEEHP deals with topics on educational evaluation of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education for a variety of professions that address people’s medical health. Its scope includes national licensing examinations, national or international programs of education, applications of psychometrics and measurement tools for health education, computerized testing, computer-based or web-based learning, medical health regulatory bodies, continuing professional development, and licensing certification including but not limited to the following health professions:

Types of Entries in the JEEHP
The journal’s publication types are research articles, brief reports, case reports, reviews, editorials, opinions, technical reports, software report, letters to editor, book reviews, and educational/faculty development material. Articles are published immediately after the review process if the manuscript is accepted. All manuscripts should be submitted via the online manuscript submission system http://submit.jeehp.org and peer review is also done electronically. All submitted manuscripts should be written in English. Submission is open to any researcher who deals with the subjects in the above-mentioned professions.
